The DBS System Software is a Range of Motion (ROM) assessment applied to an individual to gather flexibility data. For the initial assessment each movement is applied passively, this enables the therapist to study each movement or lack of movement in the connecting joints as well as muscle groups. After the (ROM) data is entered into the software, it generates detailed reports on the physical blueprint of the client. What areas are weak, tight, as well as imbalances. Depending on the goals of the client the reports allow the Therapist to gather pertinent data to see what areas are in the first phase of correction. This data can also allow the therapist to see patterns of pain, “root cause” of a pain or injury as well as what sports might be hindered because of these muscle imbalances.
